Anyone got advice on a suitable harness?

Hi there
I have a doberman who is a swine on the lead at the moment i am using a head harness ,but he is not happy wearing it, and it doesnt seem too fit right and ends up moving up his face and covering his eye when he pulls. You think this would stop him pulling bu he just too damn dumb.(or more than likely me). Anyway i want to buy a body harness and i was wondering if someone out there got any advice or recommendations. By the way anybody out there actually tried the Don Sullivan training collar coz according to the advert it brill but the reviews aint been that good but i dont think they had actually used it.

I would try a prong collar. Definitely NOT a choke collar, unless you want to damage your dog's trachea. Many report success with Martingale collars, as well...especially owners of dogs with small heads (like yours). The only harness that is worth trying is one specifically designed to stop pulling-it kind of looks like the straps they use on horses' saddles to keep them from rearing. It might be a matter of trial and error for you, though I think that the prong would be the most effective. It's often called a "pinch" collar-it doesn't puncture the dog, it gives them a little pinch when they pull-they soon learn that pulling creates discomfort.
