What filtration system for 30g saltwater tank with low budget?

I have a 30g live rock saltwater aquarium with a broken filter- a Marineland Penguin 125 I think (which I'm sure was probably inadequate for my tank). I'm a beginner with a low budget ($50 tops) and I'm looking for something simple that will filter my water. What would you recommend?

I would say get a second hand one, a good brand too, until then, keep your powerhead on 24/7 for movement and drop some carbon into the tank to keep phosphates and nitrates down.
