Can my 1 year old corgi be taken away for barking?

My dog barks at the most an hour but usually 15 min. Could his barking cause him to be taken away from me if someone calls animal control?
What if a police complains about my dog he only barks for at the most an hour but usually 15 min. mostly in the morning. (the police lives near me).
Also he mainly belongs to my 12 year old she loves him very much and nearly gets a heart attack whenever the door bell rings thinking he will be taken away. She is afraid to use a bark collar are they safe. PLEASE HELP!!
She isn't the only one who takes care of him but she probably loves him the most and has taken care of him for the past 11 months or 12 months and continues to do so.

It depends on the laws where you are. Where I live you get 2 warnings then a fine and then yes you do risk losing them.

If you know this is a problem why leave him out to bark for so long? Let him do what he needs and then let him back inside. Take him for long walks each and every day.

Kids should never be expected to look after a dog even though they always promise they will. As parents when we take on an animal it's up to us to take care of it, train it etc. Just about every kid promises to do everything for it and 99.99% of them go back on it within a few weeks. If there were fines to be had they would come to you too.

Bark collars can work if used properly, but I'm sure this dog need some obedience training too. I know when I tell my dogs to be quiet they do it. You could train yours to be the same.
