Alright, so I have seven pets. A cat, a dog, a rabbit, and four guinea pigs. I've been trying to get the perfect pictures of them. I was first inspired by one of my friends on DeviantART.
Does anyone have any good tips on:

settings/backgrounds?

lighting?

how to get the animals to do what you want them to?

if anyone has any of those, or all of them, PLEASE feel free to answer. I need some help.
My biggest problems are the first and the last one. So please, try to aim for those. Thanks!

Pin up a sheet and let it wrap to the floor. Use a painters light (quite cheap) and bounce it off the ceiling. Have a friend be the "wrangler" to keep the animal in place each time they try to run away. Use a small container (like an old film canister) with dry rice or beans to get their attention and pick up their ears. It's a lot of work, but fun.
