Using Medically Formulated Shampoo and Flea and Tick control?

After a visit to the vet I am using the F3/S Medically Formulated Shampoo and spray on conditioner on my pup. My question is if anyone has used this before and how have you continued flea and tick control for your pet? I could have sworn the vet didn't say that the shampoo would affect the topical, however my boyfriend is convinced they said it could remove it. (I use K9 Advantix, and the pup is a Black Lab)

I don't know of any shampoo that will affect the topical flea control. It is best to wait 2 to 3 days after you treat to give the dog a bath and with the medicated shampoo I would not use it 3 days prior to the topical flea control
But you might want to call the vet to be sure.
