is there anything i can put in my aquarium water so my fish dont die?

i bought an aquarium fish tank and filled it up waited about 14 hours the Temperature is at the right one but its only been 4 days and 4 fish have died it was an ex display so im wondering if a fish had a disease in it or weather i didn't leave the water in long enough is there something i can put in the water so my fish don't die
i have been feeding them
i used tap water i have a filter and a heater in the tank

You have not cycled your tank. The reason your fish are dying is because they are going through the stress of ammonia spikes and nitrite spikes. If you still have fish you can comfort the fish by doing water changes. Doing water changes will slow the cycling process down though. Don't get any more fish until the cycling process is done. (When the cycling process is done the ammonia levels and nitrite levels will drop to about 0.) Also did you use fish tank conditioner in your water. Water that is not conditioned contain harmful chemical that will kill your fish. Even if that's what happened you need to still cycle your tank.
