What can I do to discourage excessive barking at neighbors & when we leave the house ?

We have 2 dogs that bark excessively whenever people walk by our house & also whenever we leave them home alone.It's been very difficult to deal with & I've tried electronic devices,treats to re-direct & nothing has worked so far...we can't afford a pro at this time.One has been trained successfully in the past,but the barking is ongoing.

Make sure your barker collars are on secure (very tight) or they will not work. It doesn't matter how big or tough your dog is if you buy a barker collar and keep good batteries in it the dog will not bark.
