Can I use a black light over my aquarium (at night for a while)? Will it hurt my fish?

I just thought the lighting would look really cool, but don't want to do anything that will harm my little buddies.

i don't think that it will harm your fish...it may render ineffective any medications you have in the water however. I have moonlights on my tank and my catfishe and nocturnal things really like it.
